Mushroom Mutter masala is a vegetarian dish but I'sure to that both vegetarians and non-vegetarians will equally like its taste. It is quite spicy dish and makes a good curry for chappathi, paratha and kerala style pathiri. The below recipe is simple enough to be made at home.
Ingredients
1. Mushroom-500 gm
2. Green peas-1/2 cup
3. potato-1
4. Green chilly-1
5. Onion-2 or 3
6. Curry leaves
7. Mustard-1/2 teaspoon
8.cumin seeds-1/2 teaspoon
9.chilly powder-1/2 teaspoon
10.turmeric powder-1/4 teaspoon
11.coriander powder-2 teaspoon
12. Garam masala-1/4 teaspoon
13. Pepper powder-1/4 teaspoon
14. chicken masala-1/2 teaspoon
15.Tomato-1 big
16.Ginger Garlic paste-1 teaspoon
17.Tomato sauce
17. salt to taste
18. coriander leaves
Method of preparation
Boil green pea and potato. Keep it aside.
Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds once it pop ups add cumin seeds fry it. Add Onion, curry leaves and Chopped green chilly stir it well. Add ginger garlic paste and fry till onion turns golden. Add salt and all masalas chilly powder, Turmeric power, Coriander powder, garam masala, pepper powder, chicken masala and stir it well. Add chopped tomato and fry it. Add 1 teaspoon of tomato sauce and stir it well. Add mushroom stir it for 3 minutes. Add boiled green peas and potato stir it well. close the pan with a tight lid. leave it for 5 minutes or till it cooked. Add coriander leaves switch off the gas.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve it.
